When power failure plunges an industrial colony into chaos, your crew is selected for the lucrative and dangerous task of restoring the electricity supply.
But you are not the first group to be sent to the sub-levels of the sanitation system, and the thing that Team Gamma discovered a few hours ago is still down there…
What secrets lurk around the colony’s original nuclear battery? Can Team Gamma be trusted? Will you have to choose between them and the people above?
BLACKOUT is a 16-page zine adventure for Mothership and features:
- A repair job made worse by an unexpected visitor.
- Hazards and obstacles drawn from actual industrial experience, with a dystopian corporate twist.
- A creature inspired by real world animals in addition to movies like Nope (2022) and Godzilla (2014).
- Varied NPCs to help, hinder and act as back-up characters.
- Suggestions for Wardens whose crews fail the job, or who seek to make some extra money on the side.
It also includes:
- A separate player map, representing the best recollection of the last worker to go to subsection X15 (unfortunately that was over 10 years ago).
- Equipment tables and Warden guidance to help set the scene and tailor how prepared (or unprepared) your crew are.
